Using JustMyMenu
JustMyMenu lists dishes from local restaurants along with “editions” — versions of those dishes prepared with swaps the kitchen already knows how to make. The site is free for diners. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Food safety and allergies — please read
Editions are reviewed by a registered dietitian against the restaurant's real ingredients before they go live. That review is general food information. It is not medical, dietary or allergy advice, and it does not create a clinical relationship with you.
An edition never replaces telling the staff about a serious allergy. Kitchens are shared spaces, ingredients and suppliers change, and cross-contact is always possible. If you have a severe allergy or celiac disease, tell your server directly, every time, and rely on their answer — not on this site. If you have a medical condition or take medication that affects your diet, talk to your own clinician.
Menus change; we do our best
Restaurants change dishes, ingredients, prices and hours without telling us. We work to keep listings current, but we cannot guarantee that everything shown is accurate at the moment you order. The restaurant prepares and serves your food, and the restaurant is responsible for it.
Accounts
Restaurant owners and staff sign in with Google and get access only to their own restaurant. Keep your account to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using it. We can suspend accounts that are misused.
Requesting a restaurant
Anyone can ask us to reach out to a restaurant. Requests are anonymous to the restaurant — they see the number of people asking, not who asked. Please request only real places, and keep notes civil. We may remove submissions that are spam, abusive or false.
Rewards and credits
Meal rewards for diners and launch credits for restaurants are goodwill offers during our launch pilot. They have no cash value, are issued at our discretion once the conditions are met, and can change or end at any time. We will not void a reward you have already earned.
For restaurants
By applying, you confirm you can act for the restaurant. You give us permission to show your menu items, name and logo on JustMyMenu, and you keep ownership of all of it. You are responsible for the accuracy of the ingredients you give us and for preparing editions as approved. Either of us can end the arrangement at any time, and we will remove your listing on request.
Our content
The JustMyMenu name, logo, edition names and certification marks belong to us. Please do not use them to imply a restaurant is certified when it is not.
Availability and liability
The site is provided as is, and we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us — which for diners is nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change and continued use means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. Questions go to hello@justmymenu.com. See also our Privacy Policy.
